Our oenologists' opinion
Fragrances of fresh almond and candied yellow fruits are brought out of this yellow-colored wine. It is limpid, clear, with green highlights. At tasting, this wine is well-balanced. In mouth, this wine is smooth with a plump attack. Flavors of dry apricots are perceptible. The finish is tasteful and greedy.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
Renowned since the eleventh century, the vineyard of Chignin is known for the diversity and quality of its wines, mainly white goods in the traditional Savoyard style. However, a few reds and rosés were able to find their place on this land made for white varieties.
