Powerful bouquet

Dark brick colour with amber highlights. Open nose with notes of kirch, spices, plum brandy and cinnamon. Supple attack, melted tannins, character on kirch and spices, tension, finesse, full-bodied. Full-bodied finish, with rather granular tannins, medium persistence on mocha and roasted plum.

Features

    The Livio Pavese estate is located in the Piedmont region of the Langhe. The harvest is done by hand from mid October. The grapes are delicately pressed before fermentation. Then the wine spends at least 3 years in the barrels.
