Domain and appellation

    Azienda UGGIANO wines are made in the purest Tuscan tradition. Montespertoli Castle (13th century), near Florence, is the Azienda's birthplace. The cellars are located in the heart of the Chianti vineyards, close to the River Pesa. UGGIANO wines are matured in 225-litre barrels from cooperages in the Massif Central region of France: Allier, Vosges and Nevers.
