Powerful bouquet

The nose is frank and expressive, opening with notes of roasted peppers and cooked spices, then evolving towards aromas of undergrowth, roasted coffee and bitter cocoa.


The attack is supple, marked by roundness and beautiful balance.


The palate is rich and structured, offering a clean finish with a strong character of truffle and cold tobacco notes.


The persistent finish lingers on cocoa, carried by supple and silky tannins, bringing finesse and elegance.

Features

Domain and appellation

    Created in 1930 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Mouton Cadet wines reflect the diversity and richness of the Bordeaux terroir through a wine that is accessible to all. Terroir: The grapes are sourced from partnerships established with winegrowers in the Pauillac appellation.

     

    Located on the left bank of the Gironde estuary, this appellation is unique in that it is home to three châteaux included in the prestigious 1855 classification. Viticulture: These long-standing partnerships enable high-end plot selection.

     

    The winegrowers are bound by the specifications of the Mouton Cadet house.
