Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is frank and expressive, combining white acacia flowers, ripe yellow fruit and candied citrus, with a subtle touch of brioche that adds depth and elegance.
The attack is full-bodied, without any heaviness, carried by fine tension and remarkable balance.
The long finish is frank and delicious, revealing a racy character, sapidity and a fine persistence that prolongs the aromatic finesse on the palate.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

MAISON JEAN LORON
The Domaine Auvigue boasts a long-standing heritage in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation.
Since 2019, it has been located in the fully restored Romanesque church of Fuissé. A true cathedral of wine, this unique and iconic Burgundian site, just steps from the Roche de Solutré, now houses the estate’s winemaking and aging cellars.
Soil: The vines are sourced from the villages of Solutré-Pouilly and Chaintré, and come from an assemblage of Premier Cru plots. Soils consist of Cretaceous sedimentary rocks, with a mix of clay-limestone and flint.
Vinification & Aging: Fermentation and aging take place 100% in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new. Indigenous yeasts initiate fermentation, and the wine is then aged on fine lees for 16 months.
