Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is frank and distinctive, evoking a stroll through the garrigue, blending sweet spices, Mediterranean herbs, grey pepper and fresh thyme.
The attack is supple and well-balanced, before revealing a strong character of baked black fruits, enhanced by well-integrated black pepper.
The palate is full-bodied, with round tannins and a hint of temporary harshness due to a slight gasiness, which is quickly forgotten.
The finish is round and indulgent, with aromas reminiscent of a still-warm black fruit tart, with good length.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.
Do you know ?
Thanks to Mont Ventoux, we have quite a large temperature range, with a drop of between 10 and 15 degrees between day and night in summer.
