Powerful bouquet

The nose is open and straightforward, marked by notes of black fruit, laurel, spices and eucalyptus.

 

The attack is supple and fleshy, offering tension and fullness, with a profile that is perfectly in line with previous vintages.

 

The finish is spicy and fleshy, with a garrigue character and a touch of warmth and black pepper, typical, powerful and full-bodied.

    Château des Fines Roches – A legacy of heritage, terroir and winemaking tradition

     

    Nestled between Sorgues and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château des Fines Roches stands out for its neo-medieval architecture, featuring crenellations, machicolations, and mullioned windows from the 19th century.

     


    The estate has been owned by the Mousset family since 1832.

    • Terroir: The vineyard spans 45 hectares, with rolled pebbles on clay-rich subsoil.

     

    • Viticulture: The average vine age is 40 years, with plantings of grenache, cinsault, syrah, muscardin, and mourvèdre.

     

    • Winemaking: Following a 21-day vatting period in stainless steel, the wine is aged in large oak foudres for 12 months, gaining depth and complexity.
