Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is straightforward, marked by spices and pepper, then opens up to candied black fruits and blackcurrant coulis, with a floral touch.
The attack is fleshy, offering a beautiful enveloping texture.
The palate stretches out with a frank and peppery finish, carried by a beautiful balance and lovely roundness.
The persistence is sustained, pleasantly prolonging the tasting experience.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

MAISON LORGERIL
An independent family-owned house founded in 1620, Maison Lorgeril owns several estates across the Great South of France, between the Rhône River and the Pyrenees.
Since 1987, Nicolas de Lorgeril, the 10th generation of the same winegrowing family, together with his wife Miren de Saint Chamas, has expanded the family’s roots well beyond the Château de Pennautier, the family’s historic birthplace.
A winegrowing journey driven by heritage, deep respect for terroirs, and a long-term vision.
