Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation

  • DOMAINE COMPLICES DE LOIRE

Since 2010, Maison Complices de Loire has been producing wines from the appellations of the Loire Valley, from Pouilly-Fumé to Saumur, using organic and sustainable farming practices.

Vinified both in oak barrels and in tanks, the various single-parcel cuvées deliver generous texture and vibrant fruit, while preserving the spirit of the great Loire red and white wines.

The vines benefit from excellent exposure, while the sandy and gravelly terroir, which is highly free-draining, allows the vine to find its natural balance.

The result is a festive and supple Cabernet Franc, from vines averaging 25 years of age, offering an expressive, easy-drinking and pleasure-driven wine.
