Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is straightforward, offering aromas of red fruit coulis and candied blackcurrant, opening onto notes of garrigue.

The attack is supple and full-bodied, followed by a long, rich finish.

The character is greedy, marked by candied red fruit and hints of pepper.

The tannins are round and the wine has good persistence.

The finish is refreshing, leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Our single vineyard is located on the banks of the Rhône, at the foot of the Alpilles mountains.

This is a very special microclimate, with wide temperature swings, a windy climate and little water stress, all of which give our wines a fine balance.

HVE3 certification, mechanical working of the soil, organic amendment based on leguminous plants between the rows, agropastoralism.

Mechanical harvesting at night, direct pressing, settling by flotation, alcoholic fermentation at 16º. Aged in 600-litre barrels for 3 months.
