Fruity and crisp

Bright, deep garnet-red colour. Open, delicious nose of morello cherries and violets, with hints of grilled pepper. A well-balanced, straightforward wine with a medium body. Fresh, fruity character, ripe tannins. Taut, fruity finish.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Domain and appellation

DOMAINE DES COUTURES

Caroline GUENESCHEAU, wife BERTRAND, and her husband David took over the family business in 2017. This family estate is located at a place called Le Frêne in Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, and cultivates 21 hectares of vines in the Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil appellation area. The watchwords of their estate are simplicity and good humour.
