Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and crisp
A clear, limpid and brilliant wine, with a pale yellow colour and green highlights.
The nose is expressive and elegant, revealing aromas of lemon zest, grapefruit, passion fruit and pear, accompanied by a subtle hint of flint.
The attack is lively and taut, offering lovely freshness and harmonious balance.
On the palate, it reveals a generous body, underpinned by flavours of exotic fruits and pomelo.
The savoury and lingering finish prolongs the tasting experience with lovely citrus notes.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

FAMILLE BERTHIER
In the Berthier family, the craft of winemaking has been passed down from father to son for five generations. Driven by the same passion for vines and wine, Clément and Florian Berthier now embody this family tradition with authenticity and determination.
In 2012, they took up the torch, continuing the work of their predecessors whilst breathing new life into the estate.
The Berthier estate now spans 20 hectares in the Coteaux du Giennois and 10 hectares in Sancerre, where they produce wines that express purity, balance and respect for the terroir.
