    Established in the Sauternes region, this 1er Grand Cru Classé belongs to the Domaines Barons de Rothschild. This wine is one of the most sought-after sweet wines. The vineyard is composed of Semillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle. Terroir: Spread over 93 hectares, the terroir of Château Rieussec is close to that of Château d'Yquem and rests on a gravelly soil. Viticulture: The manual harvest lasts between 6 and 8 weeks in order to harvest only the grapes that have been "affected" by the famous botrytis cinerea or noble rot. Vinification: Fermentation and maturation are carried out in oak barrels. The ageing lasts from 18 to 26 months.
