CHÂTEAU OLIVIER
From the knights of the Hundred Years' War to the philosophers of the Enlightenment, this ancient seigneury has witnessed men of strong character. As historical remnants, the wines of Château Olivier have been classified as Grands Crus since 1953.
Terroir: Spanning 60 hectares, this vineyard is set on gravel soil with a clay-limestone subsoil. The Sauvignons are expressive, very fruity with notes of peach and white flowers, while the Sémillons add body and roundness. The palate, both rich and vibrant, reveals a deep structure, marked by tension and purity.
