Well-rounded
Dark garnet-red with black highlights. Open nose with notes of roasted plums, coffee and cocoa, and a hint of fur. Supple, fleshy attack, good body, good balance, tannins present but long and velvety. Character with black fruit coulis and sweet spices, a hint of burnt wood. The finish is full-bodied but rather short, with toasted wood and roasted plum.

Features

Château de Parenchère is a vast 70-hectare vineyard in the extreme east of the Bordeaux region, 38 km from Saint-Emilion. The estate, which is undergoing organic conversion, is renowned the world over for the quality of its wines and their superb value for money.
