    Just north of Bordeaux, less than twenty kilometres away in Ludon-Médoc, the superb Château d'Agassac is an ancient wine estate dating back to medieval times and enjoying a long-standing reputation. With a surface area of 43 hectares, Château d'Agassac is located to the south of Ludon-Médoc. Since the 2000s, the team has been working towards sustainable agriculture, and has obtained Terra Vitis and HV3 (High Environmental Value) level 3 certification, which is the highest level of the standard. They now use more sustainable techniques, such as natural pest control to avoid the use of chemical products, replacing pesticides, etc.
