Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is fresh and expressive, revealing notes of herbs and menthol, enhanced by a hint of white pepper.
The attack is supple and taut, offering beautiful balance and body, with a refined and elegant character marked by red fruit coulis.
The finish is sapid and persistent, seducing with its tension and minerality, leaving an impression of refined freshness.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

DOUDET-NAUDIN
South of the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet shares with Puligny the undisputed prince of dry white wines: the divine Montrachet (pronounced Mon-rachet).
This large and superb hillside brings to perfection the two emblematic grape varieties of Burgundy, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which flourish side by side thanks to the complexity and richness of the terroirs.Large marble quarries dominate the landscape, forming an impressive rocky front.
The Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, created in 1937, also extends to a few vineyards in the neighbouring village of Remigny, in the geological continuity of the terroir.Between 220 and 325 metres above sea level, the terroirs are composed, from top to bottom, of steep Rauratian limestone, a Callovian slope, Argovian marl and Bathonian limestone.
