Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

COSTES DE BEYRAC
The history of the Buzet appellation illustrates the undeniable strength of wine cooperatives. Founded in 1953, the Les Vignerons de Buzet cooperative secured a future for its eponymous wines by obtaining AOC status in 1973.
Terroir: Spanning 2,000 hectares, the Buzet appellation benefits from unique climatic and geological conditions. The vineyards are planted on soils composed of clay, gravel, silty loam and clay loam. Some vines are situated at altitudes of over 150 metres.
Viticulture: The cooperative’s viticultural practices are part of a sustainability approach. All plots carry the Agri Confiance label; the vines are grassed over and chemical fertilisers are banned.
Winemaking: Respect for the environment continues in the winery and cellar with the installation of solar panels, a 50% reduction in water usage, and the adoption of new winemaking methods without added sulphites.
