Powerful bouquet

Brick colour with mahogany highlights. Open nose with notes of plums, dark chocolate and cherry coulis, with a hint of black pepper. Velvety, satiny attack, finely wooded, full-bodied, coated tannins. The finish is sapid and well-balanced, with finesse and balance, and a moderately lingering bitterness.

Features

    This Volnay comes from the village of the same name to the south of Beaune and neighbouring Pommard. The "En Chevret" climat lies below the main road, just below the "Les Caillerets" parcel on the border with the village of Meursault. The exposure and specific terroir of this unique vineyard give us a wine of great elegance every vintage.
