Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

The nose is frank and expressive, opening with candied citrus and roasted exotic fruits, before revealing delicate floral notes.

The attack is full-bodied, carried by a frank length and beautiful tension.

The palate, frank and distinctive, has a sapid length and a clear aromatic expression.

The finish, persistent and harmonious, confirms a lovely wine with a precise character.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

  • BIALONI

Bialoni is a Georgian wine estate located in the Kakheti region, at the heart of the Alazani Valley, renowned for its ancient and richly expressive terroirs.

The estate works with native grape varieties Saperavi for reds and Rkatsiteli, Kisi, and Mtsvane for whites sometimes using the traditional “qvevri” method.

The red wines stand out for their power and ripe-fruit aromas, while the whites offer freshness and delicate fruity notes.
Bialoni emphasises the authentic expression of Georgian terroir and the purity of indigenous varieties, making these wines ideal for discovering the richness and uniqueness of Georgia’s winemaking heritage.

The Amber Kisi–Rkatsiteli comes from a geologically unique micro-terroir, located near the village of Vardisubani.
Nestled in the bed of an ancient river, at 600 metres altitude, lies an east-facing parcel with a stony, gravelly soil resting on a limestone subsoil.
