Domain and appellation

  • BEAUVIGNAC

    Founded in 1932, La Cave de Pomérols has continuously grown, prospered, and modernised over time.

     

    This cooperative of nearly 350 members stretches between the garrigue and the Étang de Thau, across sunlit terraces known as Costières, giving rise to the appellation "Costières de Pomérols".

     

    Terroir: The wine comes from vines planted on clay-limestone soils, just a few kilometres from the Étang de Thau.

     

    Vinification: A short skin maceration precedes alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks. The wine is then aged on fine lees with bâtonnage in stainless steel tanks.
