The nose opens with aromas of candied red fruit, spices and cocoa, with a hint of flowers.

 

On the palate, the attack is full-bodied, round and well-balanced.

 

The lingering finish is marked by notes of potpourri and a hint of mocha.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

The windmill, surrounded by vines, dates back to the 15th century and is a listed historic monument. It represents the prestige and pride of the appellation. The appellation is small (640 hectares) and straddles two villages.

    Manual harvest. Partially destemmed grapes. Maceration for about 15 to 20 days, partly in grilled tanks (submerged cap). Aging is mostly done in tanks and wood (10%).
