Fruity and well-rounded

The nose is straightforward, with yellow fruit and floral notes of jasmine and white flowers.

When aired, it reveals citrus accents.

The supple attack combines roundness and balance, offering a long, frank and delicious finish, marked by subtle notes of bergamot.

The finish is fresh and elegant.

Domain and appellation

BARTON & GUESTIER

In 1725, Irishman Thomas Barton settled in Bordeaux to found his wine trading company, now the oldest wine house still in operation in Bordeaux.

Thomas' grandson joined forces with Frenchman Daniel Guestier, and their partnership became official in 1802.

From the Chartrons district in the centre of Bordeaux, barrels and bottles are loaded onto boats that carry the company's wines via the Garonne River to numerous destinations, starting with Ireland, England, the Netherlands and the United States, and now reaching more than 130 countries.
