Our oenologists' opinion
Well-rounded
Open, frank and bouqueted nose, marked by notes of dried flowers, peony, eucalyptus and dark chocolate, with a hint of roasted coffee.
On the palate, the attack is supple and satiny, carried by long, rich tannins and a pleasant tension, although the mid-palate remains a little thin.
The character is expressed through candied pepper and green pepper, bringing freshness and typicity.
Smooth, supple finish, light-bodied, with a touch of finesse and medium persistence.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

BARON DE BRANE
Baron de Brane – The elegance of a Second Wine by Brane-Cantenac
Baron de Brane is the second wine of the prestigious Château Brane-Cantenac, a Classified Growth from Margaux. Its name pays tribute to Baron Jacques-Maxime de Brane, the notable owner of the estate in the 19th century.
The vineyard lies on deep Quaternary gravel soils, ideal for producing wines of great finesse. Baron de Brane is crafted from selected vats chosen for their roundness and suppleness, making it a wine that is both approachable and elegant.
It is aged for 12 months, following the same meticulous standards as the Grand Vin.
