A veritable cathedral of wine, this place is one of the most unusual in Burgundy.

DOMAINES LORON ET AUVIGUE
SOIL: Cretaceous sedimentary rocks, predominantly clay-limestone.
VINIFICATION & AGEING: This wine is crafted from purchased grapes.
The whole bunches are gently pressed using a pneumatic press, followed by static settling for 24 hours.
Only the clear juices are transferred to stainless steel tanks for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged on fine lees until bottling, with a possible fining and light filtration beforehand.
