Fruity and well-rounded
Its straw color offers a fresh nose with aromas of yellow fruit and vanilla. As for the taste, this wine is nicely balanced and round. It is frank, nervous and crisp.
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Style ? Dry wines are acidic, lively and fresh while sweet wines are soft and feel round in the mouth.

The new label “Saint-Mont en la Tradition” highlights the precision of the work done by winemakers of the cooperative through the image of a hand holding a grape berry like a diamond.
Domain and appellation
The three wineries of Plaisance, Aignan and Saint Mont regrouped their expertise, inheritances, land and initials to form the cooperative Plaimont in 1979. The wineries of Crouseilles and Condom joined the group 20 years later.
- Terroir: Producer Plaimont now covers 98% of the Saint Mont. Resting on 5300 hectares between Gascony, Béarn, Pyrenees and Gers, the vineyards have small grape varieties such as courbu, Mansengs, tannat, Pinenc, Arrufiac, Colombard and Cabernet Sauvignon.
- Viticulture: Their viticulture follows a strict contract between the wine grower, the technician and the terroir.
- Vinification: Macerations are long and the exctractions are extremely gentle. A patent filed by the cooperative to protect the methods implemented to highlight the thioalcohol molecule, gave the wines of the Southwest their exotic fruit aromas and citrus.
