Taylor's
Founded in 1692, Taylor's is one of the oldest and last family-run Port wine producers.
Terroir: Situated on schist slopes, the vines rest on a granite subsoil. The vines are grown on terraces clinging to steep cliffs that drop down into the Douro valley.
Viticulture: Taylor's sources its wines from Quintas Varguellas, Terra Feita and do Junco.
Vinification: Taylor's 10 Years Old is blended from a selection of the best wines (from a single year), matured in oaked oak barrels for almost 20 months before further ageing in bottle.
