Our oenologists' opinion

Well-rounded

The nose is straightforward, dominated by pear, yellow fruits and citrus, enhanced by a subtle hint of yeast.

The attack is supple, carried by a beautiful effervescence and a slight touch of sweetness that balances the whole.

The palate stretches out with a clean finish, marked by delicate hints of walnut.

The finish is good, leaving a fresh and harmonious impression.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

  • MAISON DUPORT

Maison Duport – A living family tradition

A family, an estate, a winemaking tradition and an exceptional terroir: these are the foundations that enable Maison DUPORT to perpetuate expertise passed down through several generations.

The symbiosis between our terroirs and our grape varieties, combined with organic and biodynamic farming practices since 2007, allows us to enhance the natural expression of the wine. I give nature free rein: through ploughing, which preserves the life of the soil, and by respecting the plant cycle, allowing the vines to draw the balance they need.

This living cultivation method restores the full meaning of our terroirs' expression, which I translate with sincerity into each of our wines.
