Do you know ?

A single malt whisky refers only to malted barley from a single distillery while a blended scotch is a blend of single malts and grain whiskies.

Domain and appellation

  • Glenrothes

The Glenrothes distillery was built in 1878 by James Stuart & Co, which already possessed, at the time, the Macallan distillery. Located in Rothes in the Speyside region, the distillery now belongs to Berry Bros & Rud Group Ltd.

This release invites us to discover The Glenrothes in a much more fruity way than usual. To help mark its difference, it differentiated itself from a spicy profile, which usually was one of the trademarks of this single malt, combining brilliantly intense black cherry aromas with va-nilla flavors demonstrating its aging in oak barrels.
