Founded in 1724 by Rémy Martin, wine-grower in the area of Cognac, the Maison Rémy Martin has always has one aim: to capture the Heart of Cognac. It elaborates premium cognacs, using grapes from the best vintages of the region, the big and little Champagne. In 2011, the Maison has been brought by the group Rémy Cointreau.
Created in 1997, this cognac pays tribute to an important step of the history of the Maison. Indeed, in 1738, the king Louis XV, impressed by the quality of Rémy Martin cognacs, has signed a royal agreement, exclusively permitting the planting of new vines.
