Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is woody and delicate, expressing notes of caramel before opening up to aromas of dried fruit, apricot and cumin.
The attack is supple, marked by roundness and a beautiful sweetness.
The palate, smooth and distinctive, has a clean finish with notes of vanilla, caramel and candied fruit, enhanced by a touch of flambéed banana.
The finish is rich and persistent, leaving a smooth and warm sensation.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

-
Santa Teresa 1796 is a bold and elegant rum, crafted from a blend of rums aged up to 35 years in bourbon oak barrels, then refined using the traditional Solera method.
The result is a dry, smooth and beautifully balanced rum, ideal neat over ice or in an Old Fashioned cocktail.
