Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Domain and appellation

  • Whisky français BELLEVOYE

BELLEVOYE is a whisky created from a blend of the three best single malts in France. A truly rounded, generous, elegant and complex triple malt, it embodies a unique French synthesis.

Launched less than five years ago, BELLEVOYE has become the leading French whisky in terms of sales.

The only whisky served at the Élysée Palace, it has also won Air France's tender for business and first class.

For this exceptional finish, the casks used for the final ageing come from a famous Sauternes cru classé.

In order to preserve all the aromatic freshness, the wine is emptied from the barrel and immediately filled with whisky.

These Sauternes barrels, rich in fine lees, impart their subtle aromas to the whisky, adding roundness, length and sweet, spicy notes of hazelnut and almond.

Plutôt doux en bouche et un peu sucré, plus fort à la "descente".
