Our oenologists' opinion
Well-rounded
Brilliant lemon yellow colour, fine, regular, persistent bubbles, bouquet of dried fruits, grilled almonds, notes of gingerbread, toast, good balance on a straightforward champagne, the bubble is melted, chalky and quite elegant with notes of toast, cocoa, fresh hint of citrus zest on the finish, sapid.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

ROEDERER
It was a desire for freedom, to push the quality of our multi-millilitre blends even further, that led us to take a new approach: the creation of the Collection. A living champagne, more contemporary than ever! Collection 242 represents the 242nd blend of the House and is made from 34% of Réserve Perpétuelle, 10% of reserve wines aged in wood from the 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 vintages. Finally, it is completed by 56% of the successes of the 2017 harvest: Chardonnays in general and Pinots Noirs and Meuniers from the Marne Valley in particular.
