Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

Green gold colour, nice nose to open still a bit young of white peach, yellow fruits, fresh apricot, hint of quince. Good balance, full-bodied, vinous, with nerve, good minerality, chalky, spicy notes of coriander, ginger, fine bubbles present but not aggressive. Good length, taut, chalky and buttery, roasted.

Light Straw

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Do you know ?

Louise Pommery initiated the construction of the maison’s wide underground cellars. Those “Crayères” stand today among the most atypical Contemporary Art galleries.

Domain and appellation

  • Pommery

Established in 1858 by Alexandre Louis Pommery as a wool and wine maison, Pommery established itself as a leader on the Champagne market thanks to the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of Louise Pommery. Forerunner in business, she also set the foundation of what is today known as corporate philanthropy by imagining a purposeful redistribution of the maison’s wealth.
