Our oenologists' opinion
Light yellow colour with green highlights. Straightforward nose, with citrus fruit and fresh apple. Notes of almonds. Supple attack of tension and balance. Hint of sweetness. Straightforward and tense lengthening. On mirabelle plum, yellow fruit, good balance. Clean mineral finish. Elegant!
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Do you know ?
Ruinhart owes prestige to its Blanc de Blance from Jean-François Barot. Cellarmaster of the house from 1985 to 2002, he made this wine one of the veritable pillars of the house by giving it a unique style signed with chardonnay.
Domain and appellation
The first Champagne House to offer an innovative and eco-designed alternative to all of its boxes.
In 2020, Ruinart breaks with the tradition of unitary boxes, and goes further in its environmental contribution with the second skin case. Eco-designed, this envelope
matches the emblematic shape of the House's bottles exactly, while preserving the integrity of the Ruinart taste until tasting.
