Henriot
Established in 1808 by Apolline Henriot, the maison is currently listed as one of the most prestigious Champagne brands thanks to an ancestral savoir-faire and a distinctive way to magnify the chardonnay.
- Terroir: The Côte des Blancs serves as a cradle to the production of chardonnay.
- Viticulture: The grapes are issued from selected crus of the Côte des Blancs. Mesnil sur Oger, Avize, Chouilly, Vertus, montgueux, and Epernay stand among the most prestigious. Strict specifications are required to the different winegrowers in order to guarantee qualitative harvests. The chardonnay is cut according to the Chablis method. The vines are worked in a sustainable way and the harvests handpicked.
- Vinification: Made of the Côte des Blancs’ prestigious grands crus and premiers crus, this Blanc de Blancs matures for 3 to 5 years in the domain’s chalk cellars.
