Do you know ?

The rosé champagnes can be developed by bleeding but also with an assembly of red and white wines. The Champenoise appellation is the only one with the right to use this process by assembling.

Domain and appellation

  • Henriot

Founded in 1808 by Apolline Henriot, the house is now among the most prestigious Champagnes with an ancestral know-how and unique expertise related to prior commissioning of chardonnay.

    • Viticulture: Strict specifications are imposed by the Henriot house which allows for obtaining qualitative harvest produced by the house or through partnerships with winemakers. The vineyards are worked in pest management. The harvest is manual.

    • Vinification: The Rosé Brut blend uses 30% of reserve wines over three different years. Used in its composition 42% Chardonnay mostly from the Côte des Blancs, 58% Pinot Noir, mostly from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne, 20% of which is red wine.
