Well-rounded

Brilliant, deep partridge eye colour. The nose is frank and open, quite complex with red fruits, raspberries, blueberries, then notes of toasted bread, stale, a hint of grilled almonds, good balance on a nervous champagne, low in dosage. The bubbles are quite fine and melted, with a nice crisp finish on red fruits. Ideal as an aperitif, with seafood, sea urchins...

Caractéristiques

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Le saviez-vous ?

The rosé champagnes can be developed by bleeding but also with an assembly of red and white wines. The Champenoise appellation is the only one with the right to use this process by assembling.

Le domaine et l'appellation

  • GOSSET

    Vinification: This champagne is a blend of mainly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The traditional vinification and maturing on fine lees avoid any premature oxidation. Malolactic fermentation is carefully avoided in order to preserve the aromatic complexity of the wine and to ensure perfect conservation. The red wines of Ambonnay and Bouzy allow us to obtain a delicately coloured rosé with a fruity taste. Raw dosage of 8gl to maintain the balance between freshness, fruitiness and vinosity without masking the characters of the wine and its purity. The wine is aged for a minimum of 4 years in the cellar at a constant temperature.
