Powerful bouquet

The nose is frank and open, expressing notes of sweet spices and paprika, enhanced by roasted pepper, mocha and mellow oak.

The attack is supple and balanced, marked by mellow tannins and a harmonious palate.

The character, full of finesse, asserts itself with roasted spices and a medium, elegant finish.

Features

CHÂTEAU MONTLABERT

The 2022 vintage marks the first year Château Montlabert has achieved the status of a Grand Cru Classé.

Since the family’s acquisition in 2008, the Castel family has devoted its efforts to understanding and respecting the terroir, establishing an oenological vision rooted in a long-term pursuit of excellence.

The design and construction of the winery, inaugurated in 2020, reflect this commitment to enhancing both the estate and its terroir.

Château Montlabert, maintained like a garden, features a magnificent reception area and encompasses 31% of agroecological surfaces — including trees, hedgerows, and beehives — a true testament to its environmental dedication.
