Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

VIGNERONS DE BUZET
The history of the Buzet appellation illustrates the undeniable strength of wine cooperatives. Founded in 1953, the cooperative Les Vignerons de Buzet gave its eponymous wines a future when it obtained the A.O.C. in 1973.
Terroir: Covering 2000 hectares, the Buzet appellation benefits from unique climatic and geological conditions. The vineyards are planted on soils made up of clay, gravel, silty boulbènes and clayey terrefort. Some vines reach heights of over 150 metres.
Viticulture: The viticultural practices of the cooperative are part of a sustainable approach. All the plots have the Agri Confiance label, the vines are grassed and chemical fertilisers are banned. -
