Fruity and well-rounded

Its intense straw yellow color offers a discreet nose on notes of acacia and pear in syrup. In the mouth this wine has a gourmand attack and perlante with a very nice sweetness, on the honey, the candied yellow fruits and the fig. Finale with light tension and finesse.

Domain and appellation

  • Domaine du Tariquet

    The hectic story of the Domaine du Tariquet was marked by 2 names. First, the “jeune Artaud,” bear exhibitor and expatriate, who partnered with his son to buy the domain. Then, Pierre Grassa, a former resistant who developed the domain with his wife Hélène Artaud.

     

    • Terroir: The vineyard lays on clay-limestone and sand soils to produce bas-armagnacs, white wines and rosés.

     

    • Viticulture: Ruined by the Phylloxéra crises, the vineyard thrives today thanks to Hélène Artaud and Pierre Grassa’s tremendous efforts, and also thanks to the following generations who keep preserving the domain through the implementation of sustainable agriculture.

     

    • Vinification: The wine ages for 5 months in stainless steel tanks.
