Fruity and well-rounded

Straw-coloured. Closed nose. To be opened. On candied pear and apple. Opens with aromas of peach and apricot. Supple attack, full-bodied and taut. Clean, long finish with a lovely fruity, greedy character and floral notes. Good typicity. A hint of sweetness. Good length.

Domain and appellation

VINS DALSACE KUEHN

La Maison KUEHN fut fondée au 17ème siècle (en 1675). Le Baron Jean-Jacques de SCHIELE (1758-1826) fait creuser dans la roche à la fin du XVIIIème siècle les caves les plus profondes de toute la région pour y vinifier et élever dans des foudres en chène les vins les plus nobles d'Ammerschwihr. Dans le plus pur respect des traditions. Les lieux sont ensuite devenus propriété d'une très ancienne et noble famille de viticulteurs d'Ammerschwihr, la famille Kuehn. René Kuehn (1910-1995), qui en fut propriétaire, était député-maire du village et avocat.
