Its brick dress with sustained black reflections offers an open nose of candied fruit, licorice and old leather. In the mouth this wine has a good balance, vinous enough on notes of licorice, roasting, leather and cocoa. Final on fat-free tannins.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

    Biodynamic agriculture leaders, the Château Romanin owners have enhanced the domain’s vineyard since 1988 thanks to the implementation of environmental-friendly practices as well as thorough understanding of the impacts that the earth and cosmos have on the vines.


    • Terroir: Located on the Baux de Provence appellation area and spread across 58 hectares of vines, the hilly vineyard lays on clay and silty limestone soils.


    • Viticulture: The use of biodynamic agriculture is guaranteed by a thorough tender specification as well as diverse labels (ECOCERT, AB and Biodivin) received across the years.


    • Vinification: In the vat room, the purpose is to elaborate wines that can speak for their terroirs. The utilization of barrels, stainless steel or cement tanks depends on the specificities  specific to each wine.
