Our oenologists' opinion

Powerful bouquet

The nose is open and complex, combining roasted and toasted notes with a fine expression of pinot noir, aromas of kirsch, morello cherry, black pepper, cocoa and a hint of menthol.

On the palate, the attack is supple and fleshy, with a beautiful envelope, fat, full, and a strong character of roasted red fruit, spices and hints of melted caramel.

The overall impression is one of great complexity and finesse.

The finish is smooth and velvety, with spices, herbs and a subtle hint of kirsch.

A lovely wine, perfectly balanced, with remarkable finesse and elegant persistence.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

Tandem Cuvée – The strength of unity

Tandem is the result of the co-fermentation of Grenache Noir and Grenache Blanc, an unconventional blend that brilliantly showcases the freshness and character of the Ventoux terroir.

The vines, around 45 years old, are planted at an altitude of 300 to 350 meters.

    • Grenache Noir thrives on sandy soils,

    • While Grenache Blanc grows on clay-limestone terroirs.

Tandem is more than a name — it’s a story:

    • A blend story, of two grapes fermenting as one,

    • A human story, driven by two brothers united by a shared passion,

    • And a sporting tribute to the Mont Ventoux, a legendary peak for cyclists and a symbol of the region.
