Well-rounded

Dark tiled colour. Bouquet of candied fruits, liquorice, notes of Agen prunes and mocha. Well-balanced, frank, with finesse. Character that extends the aromas of the nose with a hint of cocoa, fresh liquorice, ripe and supple tannins. Long, taut finish with a hint of menthol.

Domain and appellation

UGGIANO

The wines of Azienda UGGIANO are made in the purest Tuscan tradition. The castle of Montespertoli (13th century), near Florence, is the cradle of the Azienda. The cellars are located in the heart of the Chianti vineyards and near the river Pesa. UGGIANO wines are matured in 225-litre barrels from cooperages in the French Massif Central region: Allier, Vosges and Nevers.
