Powerful bouquet

The nose is open and frank, marked by blackcurrant and blackberry coulis, in a concentrated register, with a hint of sweet spices.

The attack is straightforward, carried by long, rich tannins, a beautiful texture, finesse and body.

The palate asserts a clear and structured character.

The finish is fruity and slightly roasted, with hints of spice and mocha, then lingers with a straightforward, distinctive and full-bodied expression, with medium persistence.

DOMAINE BERTHOUMIEU

The “Constance” cuvée takes its name from d’Artagnan’s lady of the heart. Like her, this wine shows true character, combined with elegance and charm.

Its appealing aromas of dark fruits, lifted by a hint of spice, linger on the palate alongside velvety tannins.

This cuvée is a modern interpretation of Madiran, crafted for immediate enjoyment, offering richness, smoothness and expressive flavour.
