Our oenologists' opinion

Fruity and well-rounded

Yellow-green colour. Floral nose, white flowers. Hints of citrus fruit, white pepper notes. Supple attack with tension and balance. Frankly greedy length on aromas of bergamot, white peach. Good balance, typicality. Frank and greedy finish.

Features

Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.

Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.

Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

Domain and appellation

  • MOULIN DE GASSAC

MOULIN DE GASSAC was created by the Guibert family in the 1970s. This estate in the Vallée de Gassac has developed under the guidance of the greatest specialists such as Henry Enjalbert and Emile Peynaud. Terroir : The vines of Mas de Daumas Gassac are planted on a soil of red glacial sandstone. This exceptional soil has many qualities: it is deep, well-drained, poor in humus and rich in mineral elements. Vines: Clay-limestone plateau with a sloping profile and a lot of quartz pebbles. Rich in marl. Vignification: 100% de-stemming. Skin maceration for 10 to 12 hours in refrigerated vats, pressing, vinification under temperature control.
