Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is frank and expressive, opening with woody, vanilla and toasted notes before evolving towards aromas of candied white fruits and almonds.
The attack is full-bodied, carried by tension and beautiful minerality.
The palate, lively and structured, develops a tangy finish, marked by freshness and nervousness, while retaining an honest and distinctive character.
The finish, persistent and salty, seduces with its energy and precision.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

DOMAINE CAIRE-DEVEZE
François, following in the footsteps of his uncle Bernard, cultivates 6 hectares of vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet.
His winemaking approach is firmly authentic: after a light settling, alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in keeping with traditional methods. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, contributing structure, balance, and finesse.
