Our oenologists' opinion
Fruity and well-rounded
The nose is woody, carried by notes of black fruit, blackcurrant and candied cherries.
The attack is supple, with a beautiful balance.
The palate stretches out with a frank and fruity finish, with a little character, but frank and distinctive.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.
Tannins ? Coming from stems, grape pips and their storage barrels, the tannin gives structure to red wines only.

DOMAINE MARCHAND FRÈRES
The Marchand vineyard was founded in Morey-Saint-Denis on 24 February 1813, when Pierre Marchand, a small winegrower from Reulle-Vergy in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, married Marie Jacotier.
She had inherited a family vineyard estate three years earlier, laying the foundations of what would become the Marchand domaine.
In 1815, Pierre Marchand II was born, but tragedy struck when his father passed away on the child’s eighth birthday, leaving him to carry forward a winemaking legacy built on resilience and passion.
