Our oenologists' opinion
Powerful bouquet
A clear, limpid and brilliant wine with a luminous straw colour.
The nose reveals woody and slightly petrol notes, which gradually open up to citrus notes.
The attack is supple, carried by a harmonious balance and a subtle, refined texture. A delicate hint of saltiness adds energy to the whole.
The finish remains fresh and clean.
The length is moderate, leaving an elegant and precise impression. Best enjoyed within the year to preserve its freshness and aromatic brilliance.

Features
Body ? The body is the way a wine feels inside the mouth. Several factors, such as the alcohol content and the presence of tannins, contribute to the feel of the wine.
Freshness ? The freshness of a wine is defined by its level of acidity. Unlike rounded wines, fresh wines are easy to drink, and are more lively. Acidity plays a necessary part in a wine's structure.
Aging ? All wines do not have the same aging potential. Some are supposed to be consumed at a young age while others must be kept for longer periods of time.

PATRIARCHE PÈRE ET FILS
The very best that Chardonnay can offer in Côte de Beaune! This expansive village features a succession of small winegrowers’ houses and grand bourgeois estates.
The church spire seems almost fairy-made: its stone needle rises to 53 metres in height. These exceptional vineyard lands were first developed by the monks of Cîteaux as early as 1098.
The Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée was officially established in 1937.
